I was using the minimum, but the most minimum polygons, and my render were taking hours and hour, maybe sometimes they were crashing while renderig.

About the time, i was using core duo, t7700, 256mb ram a few months ago. My graphic card 3mb, and lot of ram that artlantis doesnt need.( i have 16gb but artlantis 64 bit v4 uses most 500ram), but my power suppy is 750W gold 80+. I suffered a lot from heat with the laptop =) Now i check the temperatures, graphic card is 33-35☌ and cpu 25☌. Overclocking is harder than maths, limit and integral questions for me. Only i know that(i read somewhere) i should buy a Akasa Venom cooler =)But if you dont know something well, you know how it seems to your mind. But i dont have much information about overclocking. Re: Artlantis Benchmark 2 - Please contribute Sent : 23:05:33 If you have questions on hardware or else, post them in the appropriate subforum. Please keep this thread free of spam and chat, making it attractive for external links. Also provide info on your graphics card, even though it should not matter for render speed. In the posting please also provide info on: Artlantis version operating system version CPU type and speed. Make a screenshot of the resulting picture + the rendering time and post it here. the settings should be: Resolution 1920 x 1080, all quality settings (antialiasing, radiocity) to High The resolution this time is pretty high, just to leave some headroom for faster computers.Īnd don't worry, I will later start a thread presenting some data from my first benchmark thread.įetch the file from the attachment or get it from here: To compromise I did not use vegetation and I scaled down the texture of the business man. The downside that I have to share some copyrighted textures and models. Real textures, freznel water, post effects. For the v3 benchmark I followed a little different philosophy: instead of a dull, no textures scene I did something more appealing. I know we should have had one for Artl v2, but when that one came around I didn't care too much about it. Thanks to all who contributed data and kept things alive! Three years after the first benchmark thread here comes the new one. Artlantis Benchmark 2 - Please contribute Sent : 03:20:34
